A route, not a reel
Travel photos rarely sit still long enough to become one clean post — a phone fills up with beach shots, a harbor, a rooftop view, none of it in the order it happened. The travel recap template gives that mix a structure built around the trip itself: a named cover, stamp-framed photo slides, and a closing page, so the carousel reads like a trip rather than an unsorted dump.
An ending, not a fade-out
Most photo dumps just stop when the photos run out. The postcard-back slide gives the story an actual closing page — postmark graphic, postcard lines, a deliberate last slide instead of the carousel trailing off after the final photo.
