6 ways to use stickers in your carousel posts
Stickers turn a row of photos into a carousel that feels designed and personal. Here are six ideas you can copy in Exposure, from matching cutouts to the photos underneath them to calendar recaps and stickers made from your own pictures. Swipe through the example carousel to see each one in action.
6 sticker ideas for carousel posts
- 1
Match elements on your image
Pick stickers that repeat something already in your photos: a pumpkin sticker next to a photo with a pumpkin, a fawn next to a shot of deer. Let the sticker overlap the photo edge so it ties the image to the background and makes the slide look layered instead of flat.

Add catchy one-liners
Use text stickers as short, punchy lines on top of a photo, like "so what's the verdict" followed by "I am an Autumn". Two strips in a row read like a conversation. Tilt them slightly and let them break out of the photo frame for a cut-and-paste look.

Show your favorites in a "what's in my..." layout
Place a container like a tin, a bag or a box on the slide and fill it with stickers of your current favorites: coffee, a book stack, a candle, a cinnamon roll. Add a small label sticker such as "cozy reads" to name a group. It's a quick way to share a list without writing one.

Use a calendar sticker for a recap or monthly post
Drop one of Exposure's calendar stickers onto a photo and decorate the dates with small stickers for what happened: a "movie night" label, a drink on the weekend, bats and a ghost near Halloween. It works as a monthly recap or as a plan for the month ahead.

Make your own stickers with copy and paste
Long-press the subject in a photo in your phone's gallery to lift it out, copy it, and paste it straight onto your Exposure canvas as a sticker. Place the cutout so it steps out of the original photo, for example feet or legs extending below the frame, for an easy 3D effect. Pasting a copied cutout onto the canvas is a Suite feature.

Add caption stickers
Put a label sticker like "OCTOBER" across the middle of a photo grid to give the slide a title. A caption sticker that sits over the seams between photos also holds a grid together visually and tells people at a glance what the post is about.
Why stickers work in carousels
A carousel is a sequence, and stickers give that sequence a handmade feel. They add texture on top of flat photos, connect images that were taken at different moments, and carry short bits of text that would be lost in a caption. Used well, they make people stop and swipe to the next slide.
Mix the ideas across one post
You don’t need to pick one idea per carousel. Open with a caption sticker on a photo grid, follow with a matching-elements slide, then close with a calendar recap. Keeping the same background texture and colors across all slides makes the different sticker ideas feel like one post.
Keep the photo the hero
Stickers support the photo, they shouldn’t hide it. Leave faces and the main subject clear, place stickers near edges and corners, and let them overlap the photo frame rather than sitting in the middle of it.
